Aijaz Ahamad Malik is a senior computational biologist at Faculty of Medical Technology, Mahidol University, Thailand. He works on identification of novel target against various diseases using different machine learning tools. His main expertise is understanding the structure-functional relationship of proteins and other biomolecules using computational approach. Currently, his research is focused on prediction of potential inhibitors for various targets of Alzheimer’s disease using Quantitative structure–activity relationship (QSAR) models. He has passion for treatment-oriented research in Alzheimer's disease, breast cancer and Virus-born disease. He is also interested in data science, data engineering and visualization.
