Speaker
An Artificial Intelligence graduate and enthusiast, Mr. Aakib has completed his Postgraduate Certificate from University of Essex, UK in A.I. and his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering. He has a Best Student Paper award for his research in Genetic Algorithms and Graph partitioning. His interest in bioinformatics has been purely self taught and due to his passion of expanding his knowledge in this field, he started using his python skills in the Rosalind platform, where he now stands no. 1 from Bangladesh. During his time as a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at World University of Bangladesh, he taught A.I. using python and during his free times, he enhances his bioinformatics and python skills by participating in Rosalind. His currently working on neural networks as a standalone research, as well as learning more about genomics to further expand his interest in bioinformatics.
